By promoting organizational collaboration between our research resources and the cutting-edge facilities of the Riken SPring-8 Center, Osaka University aims to build on the experience and strengths it has developed over time in order to create a new approach to research and education, combining world-leading core technologies in photon science with globally competitive elemental technology and people.
The center hopes that, through these efforts, it will become a research hub that can enhance research and education in high-energy optical sciences and application technology, and aims to help raise the international competitiveness in this discipline of not only the University but also Japan as a whole.
